Any decent and self respecting individual can set a record, but Guinness prefers drunken louts.

Thailand lets more humans die in a plane crash. Not sure how many there were, and which countries are feeling the pain, but this morning as I was waiting for my connecting tube listening to nortt I noticed a very strange thing. I’m not sure how often these guys are updating the news, but to the left of me random person a3118 was reading the Metro with headline ala ’87 people killed in plane crash’ whilst to the right, person c7249 was sporting the same daily publication with headline ’88 people killed in plane crash’.

The misery of the occasion was well captured with Nortt’s wailing, whilst the story was well captured with the Metro’s… well updated facts?

May they rest in peace.

What was the airline?

kilo, uh… what exactly?

The Last Question

Posted in Filth by vectr on the September 1st, 2007

Pour yourself a Scotch (preferably aged for a decade or more), put an Ulrich Schnauss record on, and take the time to read Isaac Asimov’s short story, “The Last Question”.

“The idea seems to drown out everything”
***** Isaac Asimov

EDIT: Schnauss’ MySpace only has tracks from his new album up. And it can’t hold a candle to his earlier output. Soul seek.
